How it works
- 1
Pick your date
Decide when to quit, even in the future. You can change it later.

- 2
Breathe when you need to
A guided exercise for hard moments. If you like, note how strong the craving is.

- 3
Watch your days add up
Streaks, savings and milestones show the way you've come, one step at a time.

When a craving comes
- Open the breathing exercise: a circle guides you with “Breathe in”, “Hold” and “Breathe out”.
- If you like, first pick a number from 0 to 10 for how strong the craving is, and pick again at the end. These numbers stay on your device: they are not sent to our servers.
- It is five cycles, one after the other. You can stop whenever you like.
Screens show sample data.

Frequently asked questions
What is SmokeOff?
SmokeOff is a web app for people who want to quit smoking: pick your date, follow your days, use guided breathing when a craving hits and see the milestones along the way. It runs in your browser and you can add it to your phone's Home screen.
Does it cost anything today?
Signing up and getting started costs nothing today and needs no credit card. Some advanced features may require a paid subscription, which starts only if you choose it.
Where does my data go?
We store what you enter, such as your email, your quit date and your progress, so the app can work. Passwords are not stored in plain text (we keep only a hash) and the connection uses HTTPS. The privacy notice explains which data we process, for how long and how to exercise your rights, including deletion.
Does it work offline?
No. SmokeOff needs a connection to load its pages and your data. Without a network you'll see a page asking you to reconnect.
Can I change my quit date?
Yes. You can edit the date and time in Settings whenever you like.
What happens if I smoke a cigarette?
A relapse can happen and it doesn't erase your path. When you tap "I smoked", the first time a shield keeps your streak of days in a row in the app; after that, the streak starts over. You can start again whenever you like, and the app shows a few support contacts.
